This week we welcome author, lecturer, and guide, John Anthony West.

John Anthony West is one of the great egyptologists of our time. His ability to combine the symbology of Ancient Egypt with it’s actual ancient, secret practices has been the “Holy Grail” of many for millennia.

Author, lecturer, and guide, John Anthony West delivered a seismic shock to archaeology in the early 1990′s when he and Boston University geologist Robert Schoch revealed that the Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt, showed evidence of rainfall erosion. Such erosion could only mean that the Sphinx was carved during or before the rains that marked the transition of northern Africa from the last Ice Age to the present interglacial epoch, a transition that occurred in the millennia from 10,000 to 5000 BC.

Because we want to keep this radio program fair, balanced and non-partisan, we would like to offer the counter argument to the Alien Agenda which has been a theme for the past couple of months. We are pleased to welcome teacher, author and Sumarian/Egyptian researcher,  Dr. Michael Heiser totell us why he believes Sitchin Is Wrong.

Mike Heiser earned an M.A. (1998) and Ph.D. (2004) in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  His dissertation was entitled, “The Divine Council in Late Canonical and Non-Canonical Second Temple Jewish Literature” (English translation: the dissertation dealt with the presence of a pantheon in the Hebrew Bible and the binitarian nature of ancient Israelite religion and Judaism, a backdrop for the the belief in the deity of Christ in the New Testament).  Before going to the UW-Madison, Mike also earned an M.A. in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania (1992; major fields, Ancient Syria-Palestine and Egyptology).  Mike can do translation work in roughly a dozen ancient languages, among them Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Greek, Aramaic, Syriac, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Phoenician, Moabite, and Ugaritic cuneiform.  He has also studied Akkadian and Sumerian independently.

Mike has taught over two dozen courses over the span of 15 years of undergraduate teaching. He is currently the Academic Editor at Logos Bible Software in Bellingham, WA. In 2007 the Pacific Northwest region of the Society of Biblical Literature awarded Mike its Regional Scholar award. Mike is probably best known to those interested in the ancient astronaut subject through his many appearances on Coast to Coast AM. He has also spoken a several conferences. Some of his presentations are available on DVD here.

This week we speak with Dr. Ede Frecska to discuss his contribution to the work, Inner Paths To Outer Space, contacting DMT Entities and the Ayahuasca ceremony.

Ede Frecska is Chief of Department at the National Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Budapest, Hungary. He received his medical degree in 1977 from the Semmelweis University in Hungary. He then earned qualifications as certified psychologist from the Department of Psychology at Lorand Eotvos University in Budapest. Dr. Frecska completed his residency training in Psychiatry both in Hungary (1986) and in the United States (1992). He is a qualified psychopharmacologist (1987) of international merit with 15 years of clinical and research experience in the United States, where he reached the rank of Associate Professorship. During his academic years, Dr. Frecska’s studies were devoted to research on schizophrenia and affective illness. He published more than 50 scientific papers and book chapters on these topics. In his recent research he is engaged in studies on psychointegrator drugs and techniques, his theoretical work focuses on the interface between cognitive neuroscience and quantum brain dynamics. He is specifically interested in the mechanism of initiation ceremonies and healing rituals. Dr. Frecska is a member of several professional organizations (APA, ECNP, CINP), and has received grants and awards from a variety of sources (NARSAD, NIAA).
