Update: The shooter, Vester Lee Flanagan, was a former journalist employee of WDBJ.
This morning in Virginia, during a tourism segment a reporter and cameraman were shot and killed live on air. By will or providence the cameraman captured an image of the killer. This was immediately fed live on air as it was a live broadcast.
The video is disturbing as the screams of the reporter falls away, we can surmise she is dead.

At least two people are dead after shots were fired at Smith Mountain Lake.
Franklin County deputies are searching for a suspect after multiple shots were fired at Bridgewater Plaza near Smith Mountain Lake Wednesday morning, according to a sheriff’s office spokesman.
Part of the incident was caught on video during WDBJ’s morning broadcast.
During a live news update just before 9 a.m., WDBJ general manager Jeff Marks reported that reporter Alison Parker and photographer Adam Ward died shortly after the shooting.
WDBJ7 TV reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were killed during an interview in Moneta, Bedford County, the TV station said.
Here is the images gleaned from the video. I cropped the face as best I could. The shooter is a white male, in dark clothes. It appears he has a mustache and beard of 5-6 days growth. The image is blurry and I cannot clean it up.
If you see him, immediately call 9-11 and take caution as the man has proven to be a killer.
Sputnik news is really on the ball with this one.
