Something paranormal is going on in Manchester. Footage of an ancient relic that was found in an ancient Egyptian’s tomb has been rotating in its display case. The whole incident has been captured on camera. Reminiscent of scenes from ‘ The Mummy’ or ‘Dr Who’ it has experts baffled and has supernatural investigators concerned that a deadly entity may have possessed the ancient statue, that was made as an offering to Osiris, the Egyptian God of death. Local Psychic, Annie Lee, has speculated that this could be Osiris himself giving us mere mortals a dire warning about our behaviour here on earth. At least one church in the area has recommended an exorcism of the piece and has banned parishioners from currently visiting the Manchester Museum where it is kept.

Campbell Price, the current caretaker was the first person to notice the recurring incident. He had to keep moving the statue back to its original position. When, perplexed, he finally watched a time lapse of the security camera footage- he was filled with horror as he watched the statue moving by itself. The phenomenon has truly left everyone puzzled as nobody had touched the statue or had gone inside its case to move it. The statue is said to be seen to move in a clockwise manner at night and also in the day, resulting in scientists being called in and most notably Brian Cox, who is said to be coming in to investigate themystery. It has been said that Egyptian Relics and statues carry a ‘curse’ if moved or disturbed.

Concurring with local psychic- Annie Lee- he told the Manchester Evening News – ‘In Ancient Egypt they believed that if the mummy is destroyed then the statuette can act as an alternative vessel for the spirit.’
